2018 Bentley Continental GT advancing to the next level

The new 2018 Bentley Continental GT will be completely re-engineered and developed from the ground up as part of a joint collaboration with German Manufacturer, Porsche. The Bentley is described and being “The company’s most advanced model to date”. As the second generation of the Continental GT this model will incorporate the already traditional qualities and add features that will extend it’s capabilities to a new level.

Not only does the car maker have plans of adding a whole lot of new features to the second generation Continental GT, they also have plans of including a new petrol-electric hybrid unit that will offer the potential for zero-emissions driving. Something that a few other supercar manufacturers are talking about for the future. We won’t be surprised to see a few different supercar makers each with a few all electric models on the streets in the next few years. The Continental GT model is set to hit showrooms in 2018.

Bentley Uber

Look out Uber! Bentley just announced news to begin trials for a car loan service to current Bentley owners in major cities like Dallas, Los Angeles, and New York. The new service so gracefully named, “Bentley on Demand” allows for current Bentley owners to order a Bentley to be delivered wherever and whenever they please. The service alerts owners 1 hour before delivery and then again as soon as the vehicle arrives at its destination.

Surprisingly enough, the service is free to current Bentley owners and the vehicles can be loaned out for as many as 5 days from a specified fleet of vehicles chosen for the program. This is very similar to the recently released service from car giant GM and their brand of Cadillac vehicles. It does however vary in many ways in comparison to Bentley.

Happy Monday from Perillo! Today, we have a Bentley that's very different from many of the others we've talked about on this blog. Bentley's aren't seen on the road very often depending on where it is you live. But what's even more rare about this one in particular is the color. This also is a great example of what people can do with the Mulliner program. Let's take a look.

The first thing you're going to notice about this car is the bright Continental Yellow exterior finish. It's loud and it grabs everyone's attention, but looks surprisingly very nice on the Continental GT body style. With the combination of chrome and black accents in the front grille, along the sides of the body, and outlining the tail lights, this car was properly put together. The interior is of course the sleek Beluga black with Continental Yellow contrast stitching throughout. Overall, this is a very aesthetically pleasing car. As for the engine, this monster has a roaring 4.0 liter V8 generating just over 520 horsepower, which turns the elegant and luxurious Bentley into a racing machine!
