Bentley's Gigapixel Image

Bentley recently collaborated with NASA technologies in order to capture a highly detailed picture of a Flying Spur W12 S in the heart of Dubai, and it looks incredible. For you tech savvy fans of ours, this image holds 57.7 billion pixels, giving this picture unparalleled detail. From the landscape view of the city, you can zoom in all the way into the Bentley logo on the Flying Spur in the center of the image. This technology is incredible!

Made up of about 1,825 individual frames, this image had to be electronically patched together to view in one piece and took 48 hours to complete. Even the curvature of the Earth is visible from the 264 meter high Cayan Tower, one of the tallest buildings in the city!

Bentley At The Geneva Motor Show 2017

Rumored: Hybrid Plug-In Bentayga and Continental GT

Back in 2014, Bentley had debuted a hybrid concept based on the Mulsanne platform, and the company had announced that about 90 percent of the companies line-up would be plug-in hybrid. Rumor has it that within the next couple of years, the Bentayga and Continental GT will have the same fate, but will still pack the same amount of power and luxury as before.

However, with the announcement of the EXP 12 6E Concept, i think it's safe to say that the future of Bentley Motors as well as many other luxury manufacturers, that the hybrid technology revolution in the automotive industry is starting now. Another big announcement through all of the excitement of the Geneva Motor Show has made us bursting with excitement! Bentley is now creating a full electric vehicle based on what was rumored to be the brand new Continental GT.  As most full electric cars are made, their focus has always been more on technology rather than creating a real experience with the interior of the car, which is what Bentley does best.

Not much has been revealed as far as when Bentley will start production of this vehicle, however a plug in hybrid Bentayga may be on the horizon soon. The EXP 12 Speed has an electric range of about 310 miles, which is quite standard for most full-electric vehicles these days. The interior of the vehicle is where it shines. The long sleek center console screen is a good contrast to the leather wrapped around it and the rest of the vehicle.
